Don’t forget Massachusetts...
I don’t know how well it would do elsewhere, but a single stack sort-of-g19-size pistol would sell like gang busters in the people’s tepublic. Thin like a shield, but with a 10 round full-ish size grip and maybe a 4-5” barrel. I know there are 1911s out there that closely fit this but a safetyless striker pistol would be a lot better, built as a larger shield or G43 (which would be a good candidate for magazine sharing.) Free America would also have access to 12-15 round extended magazines which might be cool to carry as a spare.
If smith, Glock, ruger, or any other maker of small 9mms made one of those I bet it would be popular.
