Has anybody ordered from PSA lately?

That is what is so puzzling..I've ordered a lot from them and I've never gotten anything in five days. Typically 10 days or even more.

True story- when ordering for pickup I was told to put PSA's own address in the ship to area with "Store Pickup" in there.
One time I got a notice my order had been shipped-
yep- they shipped it to themselves! Went out late one day and was delivered right back to them the next morning whereupon they called and said my order was ready for pickup.

BTW the UPS stuff you can sign up for is fantastic- anything shipped to you triggers an immediate notice from UPS. I often get notified by UPS that a package is on the way and when it will be delivered well before the shipper notifies me.

I just bought a Ruger LCP from them last week. I ordered it on line then emailed them a copy of my local guys FFL. They sent me an email that said they were 5 to 7 business days behind and then they shipped it a day or 2 later. It's been at my FFL since Wednesday while i wait the 3 to 8 weeks for my permit amendment to be processed . I hate NY!!

Quality, Inexpensive, Fast shipping. Pick two.

That said, Ive place numerous orders through PSA and all have shipped within their stated timeframe. People dont read or pay attention to the stated timeframe and then complain like its someone other than their own fault. PSA sells good stuff and for the price they are asking I dont mind the wait. They have always done me just fine.

If I need it now, Ill order through BCM or Larue and pay the premium of having it shipped today.

Update Well I have recived a couple of packages from them waiting on One more hopefully it will be here soon :D

Thanks. Guess if I'd have read the whole thread I wouldn't have had to ask that now would I? I read some of the beginning posts to try and find out. Guess I stopped to early. I'm gonna check them out. Always love to find a new gun site that will take my money!

I guess the brass they sell in the ammo cans from their indoor ranges are not necessarily once fired. Anyone ever bought that brass from them?

My experience with multiple fire-arm and non-firearm orders:

First, realize that if it is on their website is is either IN STOCK or is a BUILD ITEM.

STOCK ITEMS took 5 days to package + UPS delivery (1 day in-state).
BUILD ITEMS took 13 days to package + UPS delivery (1 day in-state).

I did not count Sat/Sun as working days for the above.

CAVEATS:
1. UPS numbers may be recycled and can create confusion. This is not the fault of PSA. Added 2 days.

2. Ordering FFL and non-FFL items together can cause error in processing your order because these are different departments at PSA which are not perfectly integrated. In my case, the FFL item was received in 6 days, but the non-FFL portion of the order went nowhere. The error was not seen for 10 days, but the order was ready for UPS later the same day after I phoned PSA. They are polite and helpful on the phone, so no need for the customer to act otherwise. (I also emailed PSA and got no reply, so phoning is recommended.)

All things considered, PSA makes every effort to promptly deliver good value to their customers. Obviously there is room for improvement since it takes 5 days to package an order -- which is both evidence of current high demand and limitations of the PSA fulfillment systems. Same can be said for UPS having to recycle/re-use tracking numbers. Bottom line, I will be ordering from PSA again.
