The subject line is the question (Has anyone ever had a barrel back-bored and threaded for a suppressor adapter?

I’ve got a couple bull-barrel 22’s I’d like to suppress but don’t want to change the profile by having the end of the barrel turned down.

Why, yes, that is something that can be done.
I’ll alert one of the local experts so he can show some of his wares.

Excuse me, @MachIVshooter ? Did you have a pic of that lever rifle you’ve done? I’m not having luck getting the proper thread. Oh! Ha, a pun!:)

An adapter threads in, then the suppressor threads on that. I’m sure another smith could do as much, just maybe not as well.:D

Neat pistols!

Not the one you have in mind, but more applicable to the OPs query. We do this all the time with .22 & .32 caliber Pistol barrels
