Has anyone heard of the Savage Arms Model 67A

The older 87 models of .22 auto's were not bad guns. Unless they are well worn , then you have to be careful. I would not buy one without having some agreement on function.

The later production Model 187 guns were lousy.

I don't think I've ever seen a Model 67, except maybe in passing on a table at a gun show. They weren't very popular and weren't made in huge numbers.

Do you need a reliable rifle or are you looking to adopt a project?

Mod 87a

I have a Springfield Mod 87A that I picked up about 20 years ago. I refinished the stock - the metal was in super shape with no rust or discoloration. I had been looking for this particular rifle for years. I learned to shoot with my Dad's Springfield 87A back in the late 40s before I was old enough to hold it by myself. When my Dad passed away it went to my older brother. If it has been taken care of, $100 is a great price for an older Mod 87A. I have always loved the big bore "feel" of the 87A. Mine shoots straight and true with no malfunctions.
