Has anyone mounted a Surefire 951 on a Rem 11-87P?

I'm not sure if I can help here as I havent seen a Surefire sight.
I mounted a red dot sight on my somewhat modified Rem 1100 with a rail (Weaver)for a Taurus revolver that I had.
I use this gun for 3 gun prac shooting.
The Taurus mount simply clamps to the top rib without any drilling or tapping and after about 1000 rounds still hasn't moved.
If you need any pic's I'll try to work out how to post them.
