Has anyone ordered from Impact Guns?

Does anyone have any experiences with them?

I placed an order with them in February for 2 magazines and a Hogue grip.
The magazines are on backorder - understandable, since they're for a Steyr and they come and go.

I got an email on 3/17 that they're still processing it....

....but now they don't respond to two inquiries asking if they have any intention of filling the order.

The magazines are available on other sites now....

....so has anyone gotten rooked from this site? They haven't charged me, but if they won't respond to an order inquiry I doubt that they'd cancel my order if asked.

Never gotten rooked by their site, but one of their retail stores is about 2 miles from my place of work so I just go right in to buy stuff.

I've ordered magazines from Impact. I received what I ordered on time.

Check with CDNN for Steyr magazines.

If you want to cancel the order, call Impact.

I've not been rooked, but I've placed orders with them that seemed to go nowhere. They advertise a LOT of stuff that is not in stock.

They ususally sit on your order til the backorders come in.

I would not trust their website to indicate whether something is in stock or not.

I have always been able to get a refund, but I don't do business with them anymore.

At the end, you'll see it all worked out for me, but I do think there's a disconnect in their web and email follow up. However, I strongly recommend CALLING them, because my emails went unanswered, but they were very responsive over the phone. Although, don't be afraid to ask for a supervisor or the owner, since some of the people that answer the phone initially may not be informed of that latest status report on a particular item, IMO.

I did get my Glock and extra mags in a relatively timely manner, but it required a little follow up on my part, but I was happy w/ the price I got comparatively, since there was a sale on my items at the time. I still look at their site, in case I run across something...

I ordered a galco holster and a galco mag carrier from them last June. In December after I emailed them about a dozen times they went ahead and sent the mag carrier but not the holster. It is still on backorder. About every six weeks they send me an email that says when they get the holster I will get it. I am not going to cancel my order but I sure wont be ordering anything else from them.
