Hello to All:

I've been burning up precious gas & phone time, looking for a retail store in Orange County, California, which stocks Hornady's "One-Shot Gun Cleaner &
Dry Lube" (not case lube). I just bought a Hornady progressive press & they recommend cleaning out the powder drum/measure with this stuff before first use. I'd like to use the 'real' product instead of a substitute, but it seems like no one carries it in stock! My only option seems to be buying it on-line. ($$)

Does anyone out there know of a brick & mortar store that's likely to carry it? Thanks very much. Claybuster6000

Like the OP, I've run out of my last can. I like using it on my LNL press, does a great job of cleaning and lubing.

Cabela's carries it, as does Midway, those arent B&M stores like you asked. You might call around your various gun shops first, rather than burning up time and gas.

I used the Hornady dry lube to clean the measure and it worked great. Wouldn't want brake cleaner to contact the plastic parts.
Also, get some powdered graphite and run it through the measure.
Next, the metering assembly costs about $10. Buy several. When you get a load you like, pull that metering assembly out and label it so you can drop in when you want that charge of powder again. This is even better than the micrometer metering assemblies.

Try Turner's. If that fails try Brass Pro in Cucamonga. The phone is our friend at $4.00 a gallon gas. Kinda hope you go to BP, make a day out of it, kinda like an amusement park.
