Has anyone used a TC Venture barrled action for a bench rifle ??

I would like to use a TC Venture in 243 and set the barrel back and make a 6 BR out of it. What are your thoughts. I don't know if there are any stocks out yet for them.

It certainly seems feasible to get a Venture to shoot well with their accurate 5R barrels, but you will be limited to 90gr boat tail bullets and under, due to the 1in10" twist and the velocity attainable with the 6mmBR.

And as you mentioned, a decent BR stock may be a problem, but it would seem that several stock makers would be able to cut one based on a template or dimensions from T. Center or an original stock.

I just looked on T/Cs website and they have an Icon "Warlord". Looks like it would be a very competent rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmore. I am sure it is a bit more expensive than the Venture though.
