I'm not a fan of the concept, but to remove the 4473's, get rid of the "sporting purposes" clause, allow catalog sales and internet sales direct to the buyer (after the UBC, of course), do away with the machine gun registry, get rid of the stupid taxes on suppressors, full-auto, destructive devices, and SBRs?That creates privacy issues if anyone can access the system and I would prefer the BGCs not be tied to purchases. Most states issue some form of photo ID. Just add a code indicating the person is cleared to purchase a firearm.
