Have you guys seen what's been coming out of the middle east?

Machine pistols aren't super uncommon designs, just rare here thanks to the Hughes Amendment. I do have to give "props" to the engineers of 30 to 50 rounds single stacks from the video.

On their behalf, I say "Thank You".

This is NOT an easy task given the time between rounds and thus the Dynamics involved. The anonymous engineers did their task well.

The quality wasn't near that good when I was there a decade ago. All the hand made stuff I came across looked like it was made out of the same pot metal the old WWII Liberator pistols were.

As I see it full auto would only be useful for keeping the enemies head down while advancing troops otherwise it is a waste of ammo and in the current state of affairs very costly. Yes, it might be fun if your not paying for the ammo but I have seen more than one demonstration where the intended target seldom got hit, especially with a handgun.
Years ago I purchased a brand new Colt, Gold Cup 45 and went to the range and my first magazine full went full auto emptying the magazine, the first shot hit the target but the rest went into the ceiling and scared the hell out of me. It's was a good thing that I ran out of ammo, it was totally uncontrollable.
TV shows and movies are a joke when it comes to full auto.

Pakistani gun world us pretty unique, lots of the wall things over there. Tokarevs, or 30 bores, are pretty popular there. Them seem to chamber any gun you can think of in x25. Some of them are cheap pot metal but other times their are pretty well made from what I heard.

(Also, I don't want to be that guy, but Pakistan isn't middle east. It's Asia;))

Just because something is possible does not mean it's a good idea. Good way to burn through your ammo supply , and I have to wonder about structural failure due to. What car or truck is designed to have the pedal constantly held to the floor - and beyond? Throttle governor? Got rid of that!
I have zero interest.

Bet it would've been more controllable if you knew and chose to fire it full auto.

Anyways, I'd never seen anything like it. Just thought I'd share. I'd heard of Norinco double stacked tokarevs, saw one on MAC, but never dreamed of one being in full auto.

As for pakistan being in south asia and not the middle east, I'm an engineer not a geographer. Whoops!

A sort of buddy of mine from a ways back had a Cetme and a Mak that would shoot burst fire and FA. Apparently you could kind of control the Mak. If you pulled the trigger all the way back hard and kept it held back it would dump lead. If you pulled the trigger quick and let right off it would fire single shots. Weird.

Says right there. I take it that 30 bore is the local name for 7.62 Tokarev
Italy design apparently means it is mechanically similar to the Marengoni Beretta designs, most commonly seen in the 1934 .380. I saw nothing like the Walther derived locking block of the 1951 9mm.

A blowback 7.62 pistol is too sporty for me.
Note that he did not fire it after he got it back together.
Maybe it was too sporty for him, too.

Looking at the last video from the first post, I can't stop wondering about the story behind the pistol with "Special Gift" on one side and the name "Williams" on the other side. Is Williams a Pakastani name? Was it traded in at the Pakastani Cabela's?
Also, don't you wish we could find enough ammo here to do an ammo dump like that?
