This is hypothetical at best just like the movie but I'm bored and I keep seeing these "purge election year" commercials so whether you choose to purge or not is on you, but I'm going to give my choice in weapons for either case. If I was a purger I would carry some sort of .308 (probably a fn scar to shoot through cover and vehicles), 2 handguns (Cz 75b w/18 round mecgar mags, Hk USP 45c), and a riot shotgun (870 express mag 6+1) strapped to my back. Also never leave out during purge season without level 3 body armor and a combat knife in a sheath. Now me personally, I would choose not to purge and would arm the entire family in one house up to our teeth in guns and ammo (and hope no family member decides to purge another family member). My personal gear then would be different. I'd have one of my ar builds in .556 with 3 30 round mags, Walther ppq m2 40 w/ 13 round mags, sig p320c 9mm, a nice pair of nunchucks, and a 5th of well aged scotch . No rhyme or reason, that's just what I come up with lol
Ps: I don't want to offend anyone or come across like a gun toting psychopath so this is all in fun, not literally. Bad guys purge everyday in real life and if a real purge day came into existence it would most certainly be the end of the world, shtf or whatever else you want to call it
