Personally I think the Security Six has a great action. Not as light as a Smith out of the box, but is a great design and when slicked up is very smooth. I like it. Same goes for the Redhawk. YMMV.
My stock DW 15 has a so so trigger. Does shoot well though. My blue Trooper Mk III has had an action job, and it is outstanding in SA and good in DA. My SS Trooper Mk III is stock and has a so so action. My 586 has an aftermarket rebound spring (12 Lb?), a .400 "Combat" trigger, and it is very nice, especially in SA.
I'll likely sell/trade the DW some day, but my Trooper Mk III, my 586, and my Security Six are home to stay.
