...I decided to work on it. The other day I picked up some VihtaVuori N550 (a nice double base propellant roughly comparable to N150) and made up some 6.5x55 SE cartridges that produced a 5-shot 0.67" in group at 100 yards from a Ruger No. 1A. I decided to fine tune and made nine cartridges each ranging from 39.0-41.0 gr of VV N550 and 139 gr Lapua Scenar bullets in Lapua 6.5x55 brass over Fed 210 Match primers. I'll try them in the next few days...hopefully, I'll stumble into some improvements. I've kinda decided to get a longer barreled 6.5x55 target rifle and see what I can do.

Stay tuned.

OH yeah-----I have been down this same road before--------about 12 different calibers worth. Once you get bit by the accuracy bug LOOK OUT and hang on tight to your wallet.:what::D
