Head stamp

Are these military head stamps? One is 38 Spl and the other 45 ACP. Brass and rounds inheredted some time ago.
Meaning of the letters, numbers I assume are date of manufacture.

Lake City arsenal 1979, and Remington Arms 1941.

I've got a box of live rounds (50) of 45 ACP Ball of the same vintage. Is it it safe to use? Colt 1911A1

It's probably worth more to a collector than a replacement box of modern 45ACP.

All Frankfort Arsenal .45 ACP ammo was corrosive primed until 1955.

Remington Arms until 1953.
