Picked up a very nice Steyr M95/30 today, and along with it was about 100 rds of 8 x 56R ammo. The head stamp is PPU and even with my friendly GOOGLE I still can't find info on it. Did find the stamp marks on the 5rd clips and one has that nasty Eagle with Swastika in it. Best I can trace down the proof mark show it being Rework around 1930 and I am thinking the ammo is about same age.
