Yes they cater to the clay crowed. They have crates of 709 primers too. I got some discouraging news today. I was told Alliant powders are going up 30%. I also noticed CFE 223 and H335 went up 5.00 too. I did get 2lbs of TAC for 31.50 a lb.

Looks like a pound of 2400 or 2 and a few pounds of benchmark need to go home with ya!!!

This reminds me of at least 20 years ago when Annandale (inside the beltway, I live outside) had a small range, a large gun shop, and a nice little place called the reloading bench (bought my ABCs there).
All gone now replaced by halal meats, pho noodles, peruvian polo, and who knows what else.
Have to go 30+ miles to Cabelas and roll the dice for their meager selection.

Maybe she was saying since she last ordered. The alliant was already a bit more than the others.

I’ll wager if there is one on the horizon it’s a distributor’s increase not another mfr. We’d already have heard about it if it was Alliant. They’re pretty straightforward about such announcements, not just telling a store here or there.

Haven’t seen 8lbs of Varget at a brick and mortar in a while, don’t think I could walk out without one
I bought 1 a couple yrs back, and glad I did. I seen 1 at the Jay's when I was there 2 weeks ago, almost fell over at the price......
That's what I was thinking....... that Al got all that with his refund or something ....

The 8lb Varget was over 300.00 and the 1lb were 45 i think. Varget and imr 4895 are 2 of my fave rifle powders. But im going fine with TAC and the CFE powders and H335. Im good on them for awhile. I have 6 lbs of CFE black for my 7.62x39 AR. The LGS where i get the black has 2 bottles on the shelf. At 30.00. They are holding for me.
