I, too,, have a Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14X 44mm, which functioned perfectly on a .270. I emphasize this because this rifle had a heavy recoil, but the scope always held zero perfectly. It was a great shooter and dropped deer easily, but I sold it because of the heavy recoil. But, I kept the scope!

I have a Burris Fullfield E1 4.5-14x42 on my .223, and it really is nice for what I paid for it (about $160). First Burris I've ever owned and it's made a good impression.
