I have not heard of them before either, But there are a few people who posted on other sites, good things for them back to 2007. If you use our charge card And have an extra charge card that you can monitor and isolate. You should be safe in that you can depute the charge.

What sets you guys skins on fire about the web site???

I don't know anything about them but if concerned I would check the BBB where they are located and see if there are any complaints.
( most all businesses may get a complaint about something does not mean they are bad, but lots of complaints are a bad sign)
Then as indy1919a4 said use a card that you don't use for anything else if you have one.

So the website is not super fancy, some are some are not. A small business may not have a web design person/team or not want to pay for one, so the owner could have created a simple site to keep costs down.
Starfield Tech (at the bottom) appears to issue SSL certs and be related to Godaddy.

Yep, that website/webstore with the 2007 copyright was built for display screen resolutions and world wide web standards of probably 2004 or 2005.

Hard to say if that company owner is in a position to want to do anything about it.

Dunno, that's lean picking for a "surplus" place. They list only three Garand items and two of those are winter triggers.
Normally, vendors of surplus in Nevada have entire warehouses of stuff.

Well I have had a few guys over at The M14 Forum say they have and all is well. There is definitely a limited amount of stuff, but browsing around it appears everything is either very good or new un-issued condition.

Guess I'll spin the wheel

To me, it’s all about making a first impression, the same reason you dress nice for a first date or an interview. In this day and age old web design looks unprofessional (to me) especially considering how easy it is now. That website looks almost like what happens when you go to an unowned domain. In the age of so many people doing the same things online, sometimes a first impression is all you have.

You make a point there. I am more old school I like my women to dress up and my surplus stores to be a packed, vast and cheap.
For me many times a surly surplus store owner with dust and poor lighting was like money in the bank... But I guess these things pass as we become more civilized and modern.. Sometimes I hate the 21st century.

Since Ebay wants $50-$100+ for garbage Yugo type 2 bayonets, I'm happy to support a little guy especially if they are truly in the condition represented. Forget the usual places their all sold out.
Just a couple years ago, a type 2 in good condition was $25. Between the gun grabbers, civil unrest, the wuflu and the internet, things are getting sketchier and increasingly harder to find. I miss the day when those of us used to get stuff from a paper (gasp!) Shotgun News.

Didn't notice to be honest, using my laptop I followed a link from a search.

Sorry, I didn't mean that question specifically/only to you.

The mobile site is very plain to the point being suspicious, imo.

The regular site looks pretty normal to me.

Some if the early comments made me wonder if people were looking at the mobile site.

No worries, I figured I'd just throw my hat in to the equation.

Are you looking at the mobile site or full site?

I looked at both. Both are important. Especially today with the majority of internet use is done on mobile devices a mobile site should be just as well done as a desktop site.

I dont disagree with that.

I asked because the full site is ok, imo.

But the mobile site is badas in to the point of looking suspicious, again imo.

Well It's here and I am absolutely blown away. It is THE nicest Type 2 AKM bayonet I have seen, and I have had more than a few pass through my hands. It is numbers matching, totally complete with the frog, leather belt scabbard and handle strap. They/he even sent a new Chinese looking green cloth rifle scabbard with a shoulder strap as a freebie.

So it is my opinion any fears are unfounded. Since first impressions count, it was a pretty darn good one!

I've been trying to figure out why my new phone suddenly won't connect to my PC for the last two days with zero results. I will post some pics as soon as I can figure out a way.
