Hello High road, Whats your favorite Rifle/handgun combination

Winchester 94 in .30-30 and a Colt 1911 in .45acp. Does about everything a man can need, does it with style, and does it cost effectively.

But that doesn't mean I'm rushing out and selling my .357s and .44magnums!

Sig 556 and Sig P250 are probably at the top of the list right now, but I'd consider...

Springfield SOCOM II and Wilson CQB
or
Ruger Mini 14 and BHP
or
AK-47 and CZ-75

or about a dozen or so others I could come up with!

ROMAK and a Glock 19...can't go wrong!

I don't really have a favorite combination. I do have two requirement though:
1. When I pull the trigger the weapon needs to fire the bullet.
2. It's close at hand.
:D

A pair to draw to

+1 Armoredman.

Here is the country mouse version.

VZ 58 plus P-01.

I think lever actions and 1911s look good together. Marlin lever-action 30-30 and any wood-paneled 1911.

Glock and Handi

I know it is a most unlikely combonaiton, but my NEF Handi-Rifle .308 and my Glock 17 are my "fits me like a glove guns". I've gotten so comfortable with each of the two that I typically chose them over my more "capable" combonations. I guess the tactical/synthetic glock is a good contrast to the single shot's simplicity.

COLT 6920 WITH A 22 ADATER
Cz-75B 9MM PISTOL WITH 22 ADAPTER.
I CAN CARRY 3 TYPIES OF AMMNO AND CORRECT FOR VARYING SITUATIONS. The 22s WORKS iN BOTH GUNS AND IS QUIET, ESPECIALLY WITH A FEW cb'S THROWN IN FOR SPECIAL SITUATIONS

For HD, it's a Mossberg 500 "Tacticool Persuader" with an M&P in .40 as a backup. I think that'll get the job done, although I hope to never find out.

By the way, that is just silly, you NEVER ever plan to kill. You plan to stop the threat.

Oh I'm sorry Tad, I forgot that all you doctors have those special weapons that fire bullets into people but they don't die.
Maybe one day I will be able to afford one of those, but for now I'm stuck with weapons that have a better than average chance of actually killing someone if you have to shoot them. And by the way, I already have a Doctor, and I pay her for ones opinion.

This is this! It's not something else, it's this!

Don't pull it if you don't plan to use it, and don't use it if you don't plan to kill!

ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR MEN AND WOMEN OVER THERE.

set 1:
AR15 & Glock-17 "if i want to go light & fast"

Set 2:
AK-47 & 1911 "if i want to go a little heavier and slow"

Set 3:
Mosin-Nagant 91/30 & Nagant-Revolver "if i want to go....you know..old school"

I don't think that was the point. Read some of the other posts on the subject.

Is there anything you can't do with a .50 BMG and a snubbie?!?!?! :D

This was my default choice, because it's the only photo I had with a rifle and a handgun in one photo. ;)

At one point, it was the Ruger #1 International in 7 x 57 and the Ruger Stainless SBH with 7.5" bbl. Kickin' around in Utah, there's not much you can't do with them. At other times, it was a Win. Mod. 70 Varminter in .223 with a Burris 6 x 24 and a Ruger P-85. Now, it's a Ruger 10/.22 CRR with a green laminated stock, 4x Nikon, and my Glock 17 or 19.
