Thanks to every on that helped and gave encouragement when I asked for help teaching a friend to shoot his new Kimber.

We went out today...high in the mid 70s....light overcast..

We put the Kimber through the paces....the only issues were operator errors......and the extra mag he got that must have been for a compact, only six rds. and it wouldn't pick up a round (obviously)......

He was accurate enough for a new guy and he wants to go again....soon...

We used the 22/45 for ball and dummy drills and plinkin' and we put about 150 rds. through the Kimber...

Thanks again to all who responded a couple of weeks ago....you guys are the best...

Clean, lube, shoot, repeat. Your pistol will love you for a long time after. Kimbers can be finicky, so remember to work with it during the recommended break in period. Growing pains!
