Hey guys,

I have a Romanian made (TGI imported) ak that I am thinking about selling. The sights are straight and it is in good shape overall. It has about 775 rounds through it.

In these crazy times, any advise on what I should try to get out of it?

jhenry's right the price is dropping. If you want to make money sell it now. If it's your only modern sporting rifle I would hope you wouldn't sell it, but whatever floats your boat. Even your LGS would give you more than you paid for it during these times. A LGS by me is selling their last wasr for 900. Yeah, crazy I know, everything thing's crazy now.

If you've other semis, then sell it. I advise looking at Armslist to see if similar rifles are for sale in your area as you may have to match current local market value in order to sell it. If yours is leaps and bounds better quality, it'll go quickly.

I'd say $750-$800 is probably a good price.

If you are looking for another gun to replace it with, now is a great time to offer these types of rifles up for trade. I had a romy wasr that was a post ban. No bayo lug, brake. but mag opened for a double stack mag. I wanted a luger or a broomhandle mauser. Ended up getting a mismatch broomhandle chambered in 9mm. It even shoots! jim
