I have 6 pounds of CFE powder and 124 gr. Sig v-crown bullets but cannot find any load data in my five manuals for CFE. I even went online to the website with no luck can anyone help me? There might be better powder options to use however I have 6 lb of CFE so I would like to use it.

Yeah I looked on the sierra app as well but didn't see any for CFE powder.

Yeah, it's kinda dumb since they list CFE for .38 Super using the same projectiles and .380 using the 90gr V's. I wasn't a big fan of CFE-P in Super but I really like it in .380.
Hodgdon lists cfe for Berry's hbrn tp 124 with a col of 1.15, min 4.9-max5.5......
A perhaps closer comparison is the125 Hornady hap (I think the vcrown has a pointier profile but this is still VERY close for comparison) col: 1.0690, min: 4.2 max: 4.8
Good luck and stay safe!

usmc, did you find any load data to work with? You could call Sierra to see if they have tested CFE-P with that bullet.

I recently bought some through Powder Valley. I also have some of the Sport Master 124 gr. Here is my comparison. The Sierra SM JHP (125 gr.) measures at .547" OAL. The V-Crown measures at .569" OAL. Hodgdon uses the FMJ Tournament Master (125 gr.) in their load data. JBM Ballistics, https://www.jbmballistics.com/ballistics/lengths/lengths.shtml , list that bullet at .581" OAL. But I wouldn't go by that alone, as I have had a few variations on my end. But not by much. Usually their data is a bit long.

Another thing about the V-Crown, Lucky Gunner, https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/self-defense-ammo-ballistic-tests/#9mm used the 124 gr. in ballistic test that performed well even at 1072 fps.

I had to find a comparison with CFE to a different type of hodgon powder H86 has the same structure and so does auto comp then you can cross it over to Sierra load data. You can try that
