jece, those grips are put out by the ruger specialists Volks - whatever. I've seen them in a lot of outlets over the years and I think they're still available from their maker .https://www.volquartsen.com/vc//pages/public/home.jsp

They're usually around $35. and the lefthand version is harder to find, of course.

They give a very good target grip. They also make changing mags more difficult but that can be helped somewhat by grinding some rubber off of the bottom on a belt sander.

I got it!!

Hello Everyone,
Well I found the .22 <Browning> that I have been looking for the last month or so. I just picked it up 10-3-08, Next weekend will be the big test for me. Man I hope it was worth the weight.
The only thing I think I will do is add a HIVIZ to the front sights.
I would like to thank everyone for their help and opinions, I took everyone advice and ran with them.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the CZ Kadet. I bought a Kadet conversion kit for my CZ75 BD Police years ago. Never had a failure with the BD in 9mm mode or with the Kadet kit mounted. Since I'm never satisfied with a particular choice of gun, I sold the CZ75BD and bought an SP-01. After that I never shot the Kadet again - sold it. With all of the reading I've been doing lately on .22's - bought another Kadet kit. We'll see how this one runs.

Went out to the range and shot my Buck Mark Standard URX, Love it!!

I love by Buckmark Contour URX. It has been both reliable and accurate. Does really well at our winter .22 League.

I would like a .22 target pistol

S&W Model 41

If it's beyond your price range, then it really doesn't matter. Ruger, S$W, Browning al make nice plinkers.

Good Luck...

Joe
