I've aquired a most unusual Mauser, and I've been unable to find any information on it. any help would be appreciated.
the details...
top front of the reciever says -
waffenfabrik
mauser A-G
oberndorf A/N
1916
it has a 4 digit serial number in the 6000 range on the left side of the reciever
standard mauser bolt with turned down handle
ribbed barrel
dual trigger system, with the second 'trigger' reducing the pull for primary trigger, there is also what appears to be an adjustment screw between the two triggers, and it has a wooden trigger gaurd!?
I've never seen or heard of a mauser in this configuration. If anyone can help me identify it, and acertain it's aproximate value I would greatly appreciate it. I'll get a pic of up as soon as I can.
