I have a shotgun I've had ages and was thinking of selling. I am having trouble finding a value on it or how exactly to describe it.
It's a very early Beretta Silver Pigeon O/U. 12 ga. sporting (28"). C. 1995, just as they switched over from the "Silver Perdiz" name to the "Silver Pigeon" name for the O/U. It's mint in the original box with papers; maybe 100 rounds total on it. it has pleasant engraving on it, but is just the basic model and not a higher-grade fancy one.
I have been told the first generation was a longer, stronger variant vs. newer Silver Pigeons. What does that mean (or is it even true?).
Can anyone suggest some advice or where to look?
