Sorta similar to mine. I picked mine up at the first of the year through rebates & discounts. I used cabela's, they had 20$ off every 75$ you spent plus some of the stuff was on sale. Lol I'd spend 75-80$ then take the stuff to my vehicle then go back in.

Solid starter list!

Give it a year.. You'll have stuff you didn't even know existed or that you needed!

As an example.. Did you know you needed a Giraud trimmer to make bulk 223 enjoyable to load?

Every time I get a flyer from Sinclair/Brownesll I realize that I have nothing. I do not have any reloading stuff although my list would look something like yours??

Same with all the fishing catalogs I get, I still need more lures, rods, reals etc.. Only been fishing salt and fresh my whole life!

great start. I tried to inventory mine after a year, trying to determine what I had invested. Once I past the 4th decimal place... I quit counting. I was stunned. so I know the feeling!

I know how you feel :D Every time I get online anymore, I am looking at reloading goodies, and I have yet to reload my first shell. I think manufacturers are coming up with stuff, just because they know I will have to have it.

My nephew drives for UPS, and he told my wife that he thinks he spends more time at my house than I do. I was the topic of conversation at a family gathering, when my wife and nephew started telling about how often packages arrive at my house.

Thus far I am only buying for 9mm, and seriously thinking about starting in on stockpiling for a .40 I have my eyes on.

I jokingly told my wife that I was going to convert an extra bedroom into a reloading room, but she failed to see the humor in that, so it looks like I may have to knock the end out of the garage and add on.

Maybe I need help????

Yep...Your hooked.

I did about the same thing a few years ago, that's when I noticed I did not have enough insurance on my shop.....:banghead:

Plus, I had to add on my shop 2 years ago to have more space.
It adds up quickly over the years.

Just wait until you get into the sub-hobbies of reloading like casting bullets etc.

Have fun and be safe.

No! Good Lord, I already have two .223 case trimmers and now you tell me I need another one!!!???

I'm to the point that I pray my next shipment arrives on a day when the wife is at work. Luckily I have a job where I can check throughout the day and intercept any boxes before she sees them.

I had to add on my shop 2 years ago to have more space. It adds up quickly over the years.

I can see that day is not far away. I already have my eye on a wall that is at the end of my bench. Currently there's 3 shelves on it that my wife uses to store misc "junk" that doesn't fit anywhere else and needs to be thrown away. Hmmm.

Yes, sounds to me like you need a carpenter/contractor!!:D I have found that I never have everything I need or want. I am a bit more luckier than you though, when my son moved out a little over a year ago, my wife let me set up my reloading equipment in his old room, right along with her sewing machine and quilting stuff, but in my defense she helps me reload ammo because she likes to shoot almost as much as me. She is my spotter and my note keeper when I am working up loads. She keeps up with chronograph readings and even if the rounds are not shooting as well as I would like them to, she tells me "its not that bad dear". I got a good one and wouldn't trade her for nothing, she aint a bad shot either.;)

I can't inventory because I probably can't find everything. I think I have at least 2 diesets for each caliber I reload.

You'll start with this:

and pretty soon it'll look like this:

And you'll love every minute of it. I know I do. The Rodentwoman says, "There's nothing but gun stuff down in the basement." Well, that, the freezer (where I sort brass as it's the only open area) and the water softener.

I have everything inventoried in spreadsheets.
You want to be careful with using any programs, 5 years from now you may find the program no longer supported and next later find it won't work after updating something else then you can't get your data that you entered.
I got burned that way and always use open formats now.

I've been at it for better than 30 yrs., and I can quit any time I want

There is nothing like the smell of a newly opened bottle of powder....

I thought I already explained this on Post #7. It's not a "hooked" thing, it's a disease, and one there is no cure for. :neener:

Gravedigger, as you can see you are not alone or at all unusual when it comes to reloading! lol :D

May be Sir, but which is worse or better????:)

A lot of times I just sit in my shop and try to think of something interesting to work on, either reloading something different or modifying my shop or tools to serve me better.....I just enjoy it, I don't feel sick? :D

Maybe I'm hooked on a reloading disease ?

Either way, I have fun with it.
It's all more fun than building or working on computers, now I use old hard drives for targets. A 357 slug right through the stepper motor knocks the motor and platters all over the place...:D:):D:)

I moved my two presses 4 times this week trying to find that sweet spot. If I don't quit soon, my benchtop's going to look like swiss cheese.
