I've been looking at the Beretta.com and BerettaUSA.com websites, 2003 retail catalog and am having trouble figuring out which is the exact model number and product code for the compact, single stack version of the 92FS in 9mm blued.

The specs don't tell all that much and they don't show pictures for all of their variances and the two web sites have different specs for what I believe are the same guns.

For instance there is the Compact version and Type M version, both have same specs listed, even grip width at 1.4" in the retail catalog, but website differs, and the compact has 10 round cap and the Type M has 8 round cap with same grip width and height. It doesn't make sense to me.

I know that there is a compact, double stacked version. Some look like they still have the wide grips, but it's been shortened, making the slide look rather quite large on such a short and fat grip.

The compact Type M listed as having a 10 round capacity but asterisked that it only comes with an 8 round magazine? Are there 10 round flush fitting factory magazines available for it?

I want the model where it's proportionally smaller in size and single stacked grip. Hopefully I will order the correct one.

Thanks for your help.
