I'm looking for something more "effective" as oppose to my Bersa .380. I just don't feel 100% safe with it, and that's the point isn't it? If it could be smaller than the Bersa than GREAT.

Criteria:
1. Small, light, polymer frame (I wear fitted clothing at all times)
2. 9mm but will consider .40 SW
3. Manageable recoil, maintenance, availability of parts
4. Trigger action isn't an issue as well as manual safeties or not.

I have a few in mind, Kahr PM9, Springfield XD9 sub, CZ Rami, HK P2000...all 9mm and Glock 19 is on the low end of the list.

I'm leaning toward the CZ or Kahr.

Would like to hear some suggestions fellas.
Thanks.

**forgot to add, would like something the girlfriend to carry at times as well when she isn't with me**

check out the keltec p9 or p11, both are small 9mm, one is single stack, and the other is double stack. One(maybe both) of them has a belt clip as an option that attaches to the side of the gun.

Go with Glock, and you won't go wrong. Also you might look at the S&W M&P series pistols. The more I handle and shoot those M&P's, the more I am liking them.
