Help Me Choose My 1st .40 Pistol

I carry a Glock 27 as my CC gun. If you are having second thoughts because you don't want to shoot the 40s&w at the range for practice then do as I did. I purchased a 40-9 conversion barrel from Lone Wolf (Storm Lake also has a good one)for range time with this gun. It is a well built barrel and has been 100% reliable with the 1000+ rounds through it so far. The recoil is reduced, the ammo cost for 9mm is less. I did have to buy the 9mm Glock mags for it to run right, but that was an expense I didn't mind making to ensure proper function. This has worked so well that my next purchase will be a Glock 35. I will buy either a Lone Wolf or a Storn Lake conversion barrel for it as well. It's a thought. (I also run the 357sig barrel in my G27 & will do so with the 35 also.)

+1 on the new XDmC, I have it in the 9mm. If the .40 is anything like it (which it is because they are the exact same gun), I would not hesitate to buy it in an instant.

I have a XDM9 full size and Sig P250 compact in 40. The recoil between the two feels the same to me.
