I was doing some yard work for my grandfather this evening and we got to talking about guns.
He proceeds to pull out some old shotguns. The first is a Winchester Model 12. The bluing is near excellent and the action is smooth. I took a picture of the serial number, I am interested in knowing what year it was made. My grandfather bought it at a garage sale for $15 years ago.
The second shotgun is a bit more interesting. It is a Remington auto, I can not find a model designation but it looks like a Browning A5 clone. It is a 16 gauge. My grandfather says he thinks he bought it in the early 50's. The last time he shot it was a couple of years ago and he says it still shoots great. It holds five rounds in the mag tube and is very light and handy. I would like to know the year of manufacture and maybe what model it is.
