I don't have a pic so I have to describe them as best as I can. They are wite pearl type grips that fit a square butt revolver of some kind. I tried them on my S&W K frame Square butt but no dice. I am thinking they fit a Ruger Security Six because the seller had a lot of Security Six grips and they looked like the same size when I bought them. They are wood backed with white pearllite on the outside. They are marked on the inside with a large "59" and "square butt". They also say "RC" and some other things but the other markings are smudged out.

Based on this, can anyone ID them?

Thanks.

I just bought some J Scott grips off ebay. Fake pearl high horn guys for a J frame. While the Ajax are prettier with no wood backing, in my experience the Jays are less prone to cracks. I'm sorry I can't help with I.D. on your grips. I hope to set S&W insigs. on the set I bought.

Jay Scott grips

I've got a old Melvin Tyler catalog that show Jay Scott grips .It says "59 "-fit Rohn RG 38 square butt.Rohn was a imported gun from Germany if I remember correctly.Hope that helps.Looks like close but no cigar.:cuss:
gagunner

GA has a .22 Rohn for sale. Unfortunately no picture. But ad confirms gagunner's maufacture origin as Germany. Take heart, I bought some JS J frame black pearl grips a while back off the net. Turns out they fit a S&W 40 early production with smaller radius half moon cut in grip frame top. I no longer have a 40. (to attest to my stupidity) So the grips sit lonely and unused, sharing the box with all the rubber grips I've replaced over the years.

I bought grips for a RG?:what: I was hoping theywould fit my S&W 19 but I guess not.:D I thought the grips were really nice and well made, I never would have thought they were for a POS RG 38.
