I recently bought some used brass from a member on the forum. About 99% of it was Remington, Winchester, Fiocchi, Corbon, BUT there were about 10 pieces of another brand I don't know about. It is boxer primed with a orange sealant around the primer. The headstamp says, "lk 03 9x17". Does anyone have any experience with this? Its a small number of brass, if it was 9mm brass I would just toss it out but since its .380 I'd rather use it if there aren't any issues.

It's good brass. "MAY" have a crimped primer as it sounds like a military round.

Ive recently reloaded some of this stuff in .380. Prolly from the same seller too. No need to de-crimp. Was watching and wondering about it, but turned out just fine. Just like all the rest of the brass in fact.

Thats good. I just got the rest of the brass from that lot out of the the tumbler. It looks very nice. I put the odd pieces in my "dirty brass" pile. I'll clean it up and try it out on the next run. I have about 300 bullets to load up and about as much brass so it might be a while though.
