I am trying to decide which should be my next toy, it is my next gun purchase i am not comparing them.... Just need help on which to buy??? I live in Cali

SAIGA 7.62x39

or

Aim Surplus p225/p6

and why?

You can get a Saiga whenever you want, who knows how long those cheap P6s will be around. That's my reason!

Same reason to buy a H&K P7 right now as well if you don't have one... :)
 
Agree with MDeViney. You can always get a Saiga but the P6 deal will end at some point. That's why I'm one of those lined up to get one from AimSurplus. Also, Sig P6 would probably have a better resale value than the Saiga.
 
Damn this poll came out how i felt i am leaning a lil towards the p6 but the saiga is close....DECISIONS DECISIONS!

I'll help you with that!

It is, in my opinion, more fun to shoot a pistol. The ammunition tends to be cheaper (in common calibers) and you can move around a bit more if you like.

But that is my opinion and many will prefer rifles.

That said... c'mon... it's a sig!
 
I am like so close to call for the P6....

and yes its a sig...i want it....maybe tomorrow....i might jump on it then a month later the saiga....!

Yes they are, to me....... Don't rain on my parade....I love guns man.... and when people say toy i know it is not....but its my nice way to say it....Where do all these thread crappers come from. :cuss: :banghead:
 
Isnt it funny that both guns are GET EM WHILE YOU CAN

Who knows how many p6's are gonna be available, they might dry up because of the demand.

Saiga Rifles, who knows how long they will be allowed here in california, since they already banned one importer, YOu never know they might ban the current importer...

I love my SAIGA .223 :neener:
 
I voted Saiga, they are still cheap but won't be for too longer probably. They are also one of the last semi-evil rifles you can buy in Kali right? Of course the antis have no love for handguns either...

Maybe the cheap P6s dry up soon, but you should be able to at least get some other model Sig or similar handgun for the foreseeable future.

Whats the rest of your collection like? Will either fill a niche you still have open or are they really just extra "toys"?
 
I have no 9mm. I have one .40 and three .22's

i have taurus, saiga, ruger, and a jennings (lol)

Sig Sauer Would look nice and i can say i have a good firearm....

people don't seem to like taurus' i love it though....But i have been craving a 9mm.....

This is how i think im gonna do it. Sig Sauer P6, Saiga, CZ75 SA

Just wasted my money on ammo....should have got the sig, i wasted like $200 on ammo....
 
I like my Saiga, I also like my P220 (225 is similar, just 9mm).

That's a tough one. Actually you know what, save up a little more money and get a HK P7...while you can still get one for less than your firstborn. It'll trump the Sig all over the place.

Understand though that the P6 has a really hard trigger pull and needs the spring changed out. I also understand it has a different feed ramp setup that doesn't always like hollowpoints.

I'd get the CZ over the P6 any day BTW.
