I am selling a motorcycle worth about 4000-4500 and an individual recently offered me some cash plus guns. Just looking to see what you all thought they were worth (just a range as I know prices vary a little state to state) as well as any details noteworthy (particular models that aren't selling well or have issues etc)

List cut and pasted from email;

1.) BUSHMASTER ORC .223/556 with an
EOtech sight 16" MINT CON, hop up's buffer spring trigger, lifters for the eotech sight, YANKYHILL front for grip and charge grip handle, have the case and carry strap and 200 rounds and 2 magpull mags.

2.) 7MM STW - Savage receiver, 27" stainless BULL barrel, ACCU_TRIGGER (fully adjustable). 1/2 pound pull and no lag Custom stock, free floated barrel, Leupold bases and rings, and Barska 4-16X50 "AO" scope.

3.) SPRINGFIELD 1911 CHAMPION 45 CAL, it has NOVAK'S NIGHT SIGHTS the trigger has been adjusted to about 2 1/2 pounds pull it has a heavy barrel to cut down on the recoil and some work done to the slide. I have 2 mags and the box I got it in

So those are the firearms he is offering. Off the top of my head, I would put the AR with Eotech at about $1000, the 7mm at maybe $1200 and the 1911 at maybe $900. Around $3000ish total.

Thoughts?

i dont think the 7mm is worth that much. maybe 800, barska scopes cost about 50 bucks, accu triggers come on most savages and a savage reciever can be had for 150 bucks. the barrel might be 300 bucks if its a realy nice one.

The Barsaka's value will depend on the model. I found 3 models in that size. The Excavator @$113-$126,the Tactical @$202-$226 and the Benchmark Targeting scope @$303-$350. Overall I would say that $3000 to be a fair price for all included.

I was thinking that $2500-$2700 might be fair.

Prices for black rifles have been sagging NIB (more so for used), at least in my neck of the woods. BTW, which model Eotech sight?

Concur with Chevyforlife that the 7MM may not bring a value as high as $1200.

I think (need to double check) that that 1911 model retails for $900, so your call on whether/how much to discount for "used" and/or mark back up for "improved"

I believe that $2,500 would be more in the ballpark. As mentioned, the value of "tactical" rifles has become a little soft lately (wish the price of ammo would come down too). The 1911 seems a little high and the 7mm STW in a pretty nice looking rifle but keep in mind that to rechamber a 7mm barrel should cost only $60-100.

Then again, used motorcycles aren't the hottest things on the market right now, what to buy a FXR Harley?

True that the motorcycle market isn't all that great either. The only thing is, I don't really need, or want to sell the bike. Just had a brand new baby and with not getting to ride as much / riding too fast when I do, I thought it might be better to sell it. Only if I get something (cash/trade) out of it that makes it worth it.

Anyhow, thanks for the feedback everyone - it helped me figure out how much cash I want in addition to the trade.

It will be hard to find ammo for the 7mm STW. I agree it is worth more than $2000.00 but not 3,000. Bottom line it is a good deal if both are happy!!

And BTW, the Champion retails at around $900 in stainless, which the offered on is not...
