Help me scope Mossberg LSA144

Looking for a basic fixed power scope around 4x for shooting at distances from 25 to 200m. Reticle illumination and reticle-based range-finding would be helpful because I'd like to learn the use of those functions and then apply them to buying scopes for AR15 and M14.

I have old Weaver rings that came with its original 3-9x scope (which I long since gave away). I am not sure that they are usable with other scopes.

Recommendations?

Nikon 4X prostaff is what I have on one of my Mossbergs. It will set you back a small tad over a hundred bucks and You'll be verry happy......Essex

Oleg, don't get hung up on tacticool stuff... Go for something solid.

Check ebay for a Weaver K4. Nice scopes, decent glass.

Lighted reticles, etc., don't really enhance accuracy. Learn to shoot well, and then start adding that sort of stuff if you need it.

You're also not going to find a rangefinder that will work with a .22LR.
