I have a NIB 9422 .22mag from 1971. I don't know for sure but I don't think its ever been fired. I have the box and all the paperwork.

I have seen prices all over the place and lots of special editions or whatnot. Most seem to be priced around $700 but I don't think any of those have sold. I kinda need some extra money right now but also don't need to get rid of it bad enough to warrant giving it away.

Realistically what should I ask for it? I don't want to post in the classifieds at some ridiculous price and have no one even inquire. But then again I don't want to grossly undervalue it either.

And not that it would help with the negative cash-flow, but I could also try to find someone who would trade for a CZ 75.

Any suggestions on what to look for to help market it? Wear spots to prove lack of use or features?

Thanks again! (I'll get pictures up soon, not happy with the ones I have)

It all depends on condition. That includes condition of the box, also. The first year of production for the 9422 was 1972. I recently purchased a pristine 1972 model in 99% condition for $475. It did not have a box or any of the paperwork, but it doesn't appear to have ever been fired. If yours is actually mint with box and paperwork in good condition I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to get $700 if it is a first year production model. If it is from 1971 then I guess you could name your price since it would be very, very rare.

I got one last week that has 2 or 3 light scratches and no box for $600. You have to look really close to find the scratches. Blue book says NIB $850.

AZ,
I envy you.
