Help pro gun candidate in online poll

Hey all, Are you up for some fun. We have a county commissoners race down here and the local newspaper is pushing a RINO anti gun candidate. Today they are running an online poll. We need help. The most progun candidate was trailing earlier but we got him up in numbers. We need to hold. If you would support the progunner by going to http://www.wnewsj.com/
and voting for Jim Knowles. This will be fun and pro second amendment. Make the Sarah Brady crowd nuts. Come on and have some fun.

RINO is a term the radical right came up with to try and bully true republicans (the ones that believe in small govt, personal responsibility, workers rights, and a strong america) into following blindly the neo-cons that believe in big corrupt govt, poor leadership, intrusive govt, corporate control, and fiscal irresponsibility.

I had used RINO to describe NEO-CONs and today's big-government republicans. I guess that I am just lost in the sauce.

That would actually be a better, more representative use of the word. I wish true republicans could come to power again. Then people could see how real leadership works. How a real war would be run, and how a real strong economy could be built here instead of overseas. Unfortunately the neo-cons have all the corporate backing and all the foreign backing.

I would have to know more about this guys politics before supporting him. I am not stupid enough to fall for the old "vote for me I like guns just like you do" line. If he is pro tax break for sending jobs overseas, if he is pro-govt intrusion, if he is anti american worker, if he is pro war profiteering, etc. I would place all those above lip service to my gun ownership.

Hey gang, it is just an online poll and I am just trying to help the progun guy get some traction with the local press. And yes RINO means Republican in Name Only. I apply it to Mike DeWine and George Voinovich my Senators. Both Republican and both anti gun for the most part. Anyway, this is for fun and was not posted to start a fight.

Good Morning all, I want to thank everyone, the poll is still going on but we now have a whopping 62% and I want to thank you for helping the pro-gun guy. Jimmy Knowles is a life long gun collector and deer hunter now in his late 60s. A staunch defender of the second amendment. Here in Ohio we only just got Concealed Carry in 2004. We are still fighting with anti gun politicians who want to post no guns everywhere. Including places by law they may not. I won a battle in Wilmington Ohio after 1 1/2 years a battle with the mayor who wanted to post all our parks and trails. I have the same problem with the county posting the parking lots of the court house, engineering department, sanitation services, etc. These poor folks with licenses can't even leave their guns in their cars. That is one of the many reasons I want to help Jimmy. He will help our Brothers and Sisters who only want to carry their guns for self defense. Thanks for your help, I ask you continue to do so.
