I've got a CZ-52 that I haven't shot in a year, so it's time to trade for something I'll use, probably something like a PF-9 or P11. My problem is that I can't find CZ-52s on AIM, SOG, etc. for accurate pricing. GB has a couple at $300+. Is that right? Are they worth that much now or is it typical GB overly optimistic, relist endlessly, jacked up pricing?

Should I ask for a Keltec P-11 straight up? Is that fair? Should I avoid the P-11?

Any help or advice (even OT) will be appreciated.
Thanks

I have had a P11 for about 8 years. When I got it, I got on the KTOG (Kel Tec Owners Group) web site and found out how to make a good gun better. After a few mods, it became my carry gun, and the first one I grab when things go bump in the night. I have never had any trouble with it, and it has eaten any ammo I have fed it.

If you get one, I would recommend the magazine extensions, and a Houge Hand-all Jr. grip sleeve. That will make it a lot easier to handle. Mine shoots fine, but it's not a gun you will want to go target shooting with all day. Being a light pistol it does have a moderate kick to it. But it's something that almost anyone can handle.

I have been considering the PF-9, but being an even lighter gun, it will have more recoil than the P-11. The advantage to the PF-9 is that it has fewer rounds, which makes it lighter, and being a single stack, it is marginally narrower.

Good Luck. :)

I got mine for $130 earlier this year ... but it needed some TLC

$300 seems a bit high, though, unless you have a bunch of useful gear to go with it or it is in particularly collectible shape.

Black Bear just has unissued, and they're at $340, mines in pretty standard shape with the normal goodies, so knocking off 20% would be around $270. That's what I've seen NIB P11's online for, so I'm guessing it's fairly close.

Like any deal, all it requires is someone with a P11 who wants a CZ-52. ;)
Thanks for the input,
