well my powder and primers should arrive today and my bullets should be here whenever they arrive (already ordered) so plan on it soon :D

Well I have done it!

after figuring out that I had the seating and crimp dies switched :banghead: I got my first reload done today! I didn't expect my bullets to come so fast but they got here this morning.

Without further ado, here is my first reload:

Awesome. Now load a mag full and cycle them through the gun by hand to make sure they fit OK before you make too many. I would also suggest you shoot a few before you go into mass production. Great job.

Good Job I have the same setup in my garage. I think I may need to move inside. Did you get the whole lee setup or just the turret press? Have you tried any rifle rounds yet?

Looks good Skywalker.
I loaded my first rounds on my "Lee Classic Cast Turret" on Sunday.
I am very happy with the press. Everything is working great. I have mine set up on a "Work Mate" in on of our bedrooms. It is tooooo hot in the garage here in Texas.
The little "Work Mate" does just fine. Mine isn't really a "Work Mate" but it is a similar off brand. I got it for $12.95 at Harbor Freight and it's working out good.
I also have a Lee "Reloader" single stage mounted on it also.
Of course my wife isn't too happy about it being in the bedroom. Oh well, she can't have everything.......or can she?
The beauty of the "Work Mate" is when she gets tired of seeing it in the bedroom, I can move it to the living room or den or kitchen......he, he.

I have the whole lee setup and no I haven't tried to reload any rifle rounds because the only rifle I have is a SKS.

Looks good. I would of took a second 2x4 and placed it in front of the right leg of the bench and bolted it right over the top of the leg but that will work. Make sure you don't short stroke the handle or try to turn the press by hand under force. It will shear a little plastic cam and it will not index. That is a great press, you can take the metal rod out and single stage it or put back in to rotate. Wo hoo!

I have the Lee Classic Turret Press. I bought it in January of this year and have "built" 2500 rounds of 45ACP and 500 rounds of 380ACP. I bought a workbench with adjustable shelves at COSTCO for $75 and added a second piece of plywood to the work area. I also (before buying it) measured and bought a flourecscent light to install above. I extended the plywood shelf 1 inch to make the bolt pattern work for the Classic. The bucket you see on the top of the unit houses my Thumler Tumber, media and cheapass timer. (I've read the stories about people letting the tumbler run for extended periods.) I carry it out to the utility room when it's time to clean up the brass.

The dimensions: 48.5w x 19.0d x 72h. The yogurt containers hold 100 rounds of 230gr 45's each. My mags are in back of the light.

My MAN CAVE is in the corner of the Warden's Sewing Room!
