ESSENTIAL ARMS CO.
P.O. Box 121
Krotz Springs, LA 70750

They were a small company from a small town. They are still in business but don’t make lowers any more.
My first (non-miltary) build was with an EA lower; it was an XM177E2 clone with a "Model 1 Sales" kit, back when a kit gun came with every single part vac-sealed in it's own bag. I was glad Uncle Sam had taught me how to build one from the ground up.

After Nesard went away, wasn't there another parts supplier called M&A, or something like that? Similar ads and in IL, I think. I just ordered from them when Nesard went away (or maybe M&A was first, it's been a long time). Both advertised in Shotgun News.

Drasen's daughter Pam ran M&A (PAM spelled backwards) and Model 1 Sales was ran by one of his other children.

Thanks for the info. I also did some business with Model 1, but by that time I was getting into a little higher grade and more specialty items WOA, JP and some custom barrels.
