I called my range and they have had MSA "MSA supreme hearing" muffs on order for a while. I can't wait for them to arrive. So I ordered some from Amazon (a partner fullfilled the order). The ones at the range came in and they are $339. The ones I ordered are called Supreme Pro-X Green HB Extra Watherproof version.

So the question is- Is the version that I received a current version? I paid about $209 for them. Have not yet used them. They have a place for a label- and it is NOT THERE! Is it a conterfiet? I just can't seem to figure out whether these are current version muffs or old.

Here is another picture with the same product number: http://www.srstactical.com/communic...eadsets/msa-sordin-supreme-pro*x/75302*x.html

Please see the pics of the ones I got. Why would the rectangular label be missing on the ones I received?

Please advise.....

After so many views and no replies I think I came off a little Whiney- sorry about that. The lack of retail packaging and missing labels had me thinking it could be illegal grey market stuff. I guess I was just thinking that someone that has a pair- or knows the product line could confirm what I got.

I bought a camera once that broke. Called the manufacturer- long story short I was out if luck as I was in possession of a product never intended for the US, sold by an unauthorized distributor. They wouldnt stand behind it.

Just cause I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me. Ha ha ha ...

On a positive note- squeezed off a few rounds yesterday. They worked great, so I guess maybe they are legit.

Thanks.

Yeah, those are definitely Sordins. With no packaging, no label, and such a low price they could possibly be refurbished.

Adding the gel ear pads to the Sordins makes them much more effective and comfortable, in my experience.

I also have a pair of the Supreme III Pro+. They are quieter than the Pro-X

Thanks Y'all. I called the number on the manual (MSA in Pitt, PA). They said this particular model is not normally imported to the US. On the web site where I got 'em it says something like "International Importer". (They are also only $199). So whatever, I think the label is not on the muffs because it is not in english. Also- he said if there is a repair issue I'd have to send them in and get an estimate. As in- no warranty through them. So, if they don't break- I win. If they break, I learn another of life's lessons.... again- Ya get what ya pay for.
