Help, what's ruining the finish on my fire arms

I have actually been trying to find rig or eezox locally but seems to be out of stock every where.
I've had no luck buying Eezox locally...I order it on eBay, buy a large enough quantity to spread the shipping charges (ask your friends if they want some) and make it happen. (Also available on Amazon, but currently eBay has better prices after shipping.)
Only have to do that every five years or so.

Good stuff.

I use Weapon Shield and never had an issue in my damp basement. It seems to stay where I put and and is there until I clean it off

Just keep them oiled lightly (almost any oil will do). Check on them once in a while. Every time anyone touches one wipe it down again with an oily rag. Oxygen attacks steel - oil places a boundary between the oxygen and the metal. Like Neil Young says - rust never sleeps.

Some times, it's just inexplicable??

The only gun I have owned in my life that gave me rust problems was a almost new Remington 550 in 1960.

Despite my best efforts of cleaning and oiling it every day after school, it would be lightly rusted again the next day.

I finally gave up and traded it for a Winchester Model 77.

No more rust on anything, ever again.

I have known people with toxic sweat that could rust the chrome off a Harley-Davidson tail pipe just by touching it!!

One guy I worked with bought a new S&W Model 29, and his hand prints took the bluing off the cylinder & frame in one day!!

His Snap-On & Craftsman tools were even rusty after a few months of use!!!!

But bottom line, if R.I.G. & a rig-rag wipe down after handling doesn't stop it??
Sell it and cut your losses!!
