I love panel grips and was trying to decide if I wanted some for my Match Champion in 10mm. I removed them from my 3in GP100 357 where they are a perfect match. But they look to small on the match champion due to it's 4 inch barrel looks out of place to me. I guess I could get the full size panel grips.

The original wood panel grips fit my hand but just look to big to me :)

Decisions decisions :)

Are the rubber ones "compact" or full size? I believe they made a compact version for the shorties.

I'd grab some full-size ones and a fancy grip insert. Or just a fancy insert and keep the compacts. I always thought those looked the most "at home" on a Ruger.

Edited to add: here's a link to Rugers shop page. Looks like you do have the compact version.

That way the compacts can go back on your compact!

I like the texture and grippy feel of rubber grips, but they have a tendency to leech out additives over time and become oily and sticky which leaves residue on my hands. So I usually have a set of wood or thermoplastic polymer grips to replace on the pistol once the rubber set deteriorates. The ones with the wood inlay are awesome!

I just ordered the Altamont replicas of the original grips for my 10mm March Champion, because that grip style points properly for me. The Hogue grips on the Match Champion do not point properly for me at all.
