Hello. I have a 6" barrel length 27-2 (Pinned and recessed) that I bought about a year ago that was NIB and had never been fired. I recently decided to shoot it. In trying to sight it in with both .38 SPL and .357 Mag of several different brands and weights of bullets, the gun seems to require to have the rear sight blade to be moved to extreme right to hit the center of the target (impacts about 5-6 inches to the left). I know that I am not the problem as all of my other S&W's are sighted in and only required small, if any adjustments for sighting in. I have tried using a rest and shooting free standing to see if that makes a difference and it does not. The barrel does not appear to be bent nor do the sights and the barrel is definitely centered and installed correctly. Is there any way to correct this? I guess it may be a bit anal but I like to have the sights on my S&W's centered as much as possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
