Now that I've finally tuned the basic press to work reliably, I added the case feeder today. What a huge monstrousity hanging in the air. I sure do miss my $11 Lee case collator.
Once I torqued down the allen bolts on the clutch hub, case are dropping.
A third of them upside-down.
That's WHEN they drop. It usually won't run even a quarter tube before a jam at the clear funnel at the top of the bowl. According to instructions for pistols, I left the bowl opening door all the way open. I'm doing 45gap.
I turned the motor on and cleared the drop tube about 20 times befoe giving up. It doesn't look like any adjustments I can make. I'm using the large pistol case feed plate.
Somebody shooting 45's w/ a Hdy case feeder, please help!
