Hi guys. I added a Hornady case feeder to my LNL press and was curious what shell plate other people were using to load .38spl. I have been using the small pistol plate and unlike other calibers, I can outrun the case feeder badly. On 9mm or .45acp, forget about it. You'll never be able to outrun that thing, but with .38spl, it takes forever for a case to land in the plate just right and drop into queue. You end up loading for a while, and then have to stop for a minute or two for the clear tube to fill back up with cases. The motor never stops running.
