I have a replica Walker Black Powder revolver for sale in the handgun sales section.
I'm in Ohio.
I have an interested buyer in Michigan.
I have looked at Michigan gun law, and I have looked at NRA's gun laws for Michigan. The only thing it says is that a buyer is exempt from having to get a purchase license for an antique, or replica if " it's used for display, or is disabled".
Can I sell from Ohio to this Michigan buyer ?
And if so, what do I need to do to make this happen on my end?
Thanks.

A black powder pistol is not considered a firearm under federal law.

I'd leave it incumbent on the buyer to maintain his legality in his state but you should be able to mail it directly to the seller.

Master,
I know it doesn't fall under federal control.
My confusion comes from Michigan Law, which states that anything that propels a projectile by means of explosion, air, or springs is considered a firearm. The only exemption seems to be .177 or less caliber airgun, and smoothbore musket, and like I stated above antiques or replicas that are used for display only, or are disabled.
This is why I'm confused, and asking for help.

All I Know About It Is I Can Not Just Purchase A B.p. Revolver From Cabella's And Have It Shipped To Me. Michigans Gun Laws Stink!

Mooose,

That is a Cabela's policy, not Michigan law. All they want is a notarized letter or form saying that you are old enough and otherwise eligible to receive the pistol. You can go to your bank and have it notarized usually for free. Fax it to them and you will be all set.

At least that is how it went for me.

Good luck.

Guns shipped interstate need to go through an FFL. Send the gun to the buyer's FFL (when you get a copy of the dealer's FFL). The buyer's FFL will make the transfer.

Agreed

Hey there:
Certian companies will not ship knives , BB guns, etc to Mich residents. No laws against it that I know of. Just Co. policies.
