I posted a while back that I'd been given some RCBS gear. I tried out the Uniflow powder measure today with H4831., I adjusted the measure screw all the way out and didn't even get close to 50 grains dispensed. Do these things have different sized drums or something?

Thanks for any help

It sounds like you have the small drum. They do come in large and small.

One thing I have done is just adjust it to half the weight you want, then throw two charges. It's not quite as accurate, but it works.

Thanks,

I looked in their catalog and on their web site. Couldn't find any larger drum. It appears they are trying to switch over to all the gear for the new Quick Change measure.

Call them anyway.

RCBS has always gone the extra mile for me.
I betcha they will either send you a drum, or a whole new powder measure.

Call RCBS.
They will most likely send you a freebe Lg. drum.

They did for me, when I called them with the opposite question ("how's come I can't adjust down to 3.something grains?").

It does come with two drums. If I remember from the manual, the small is up to 50 grains and the large drum is to 99. You need the large drum. As others have said call RCBS customer service. Whenever I need a part, I just tell them that I own a RCBS Pro 2000 and then send me the part I need.
