Help with removing brass dings on slide

I have a new Walther PPS in .40 S&W and the brass likes to leave little marks on the ejection port. What is the best method in removing brass dings from the slide? I've tried Hoppe's Elite and it didn't do very well.

A copper solvent should do it. Which type of "Hoppe's Elite" are you using?

The Hoppe's Elite says scent free, bio degradeable, purchased from Wal-Mart.
