help with ruger MKIII and 22/45

I have a pair of ruger 22s, one a target barreled 22/45, the other a light barreled reciever on a steel frame. I tried swamping the frames and have found that the front lugs need to be adjusted. I can see that the lugs are not part of the frames, but are embeded pillars. Any help would be good, thanks.

There are fitted at the factory to be tight and stay tight.

They shouldn't be swapped.

The bolt release on the 22/45 is in the way if I remember correctly. Tried putting my Stepdads MKII upper on my 22/45 lower years ago, and remember it was a nogo.
